St. Mary Theresa Hospital is a Catholic mission hospital established in 1963 by Rev. Fr. Smits, a Dutch missionary. It was named after Blessed Mary Theresa Ledochowska, founderess of the Congregation of Missionary Sisters of St. Peter Claver.

This is the first point where we start the process of treatment. We triage patients to determine the urgency of treatment.

The Public Health Unit is a department that focuses on service delivery in the population and the clinical/curative setting as well.
